Landscape History and Preservation

The American Society of Landscape Architects has a good site with great information on current landscapes.

One of the most important landscapers in the United States was Frederick Law Olmsted. He designed Central Park and some in Buffalo.

A good list of Land Use Ordinances from around the country.

The single most important document for landscape preservation is the Florence Charter.

A good association to check out is the American Association of Botanical Gardens and Arborea. My favorite Botanical Garden is Kew Gardens in London.

Other types of landscapes include Cemeteries and places like Tivoli, the oldest amusement park in the world.
